GREATEST NEWS OF TODAY!

Do you know who Jazmine Sullivan is? If you don't, get familiar. She sang that 2008 hit "Bust Your Windows" that was covered on GLEE last year. She was pretty famously snubbed at the 2009 Grammys and announced her retirement from the music industry soon after. BUT after her comeback concert at the KOKO Theater in London, it's official that the Philly native will be releasing her third studio album this year! HALLELUJAH!

Jazmine Sullivan, known by many as Missy Elliot's protege, exploded onto the R&B charts with her single "Need U Bad" off of her debut album Fearless. She was only eighteen when she started writing songs for artists like Christina Milian and Jennifer Hudson.

Her second album, "Love Me Back" was released in 2010 to lukewarm success, which is around the time she made the announcement she was planning on retiring indefinitely from writing and performing music.

“It’s been awhile,” Sullivan explained to her crowd during her show at KOKO in London. Sullivan spoke a little bit about her hiatus and explained that a bad relationship was also a reason for her withdrawal from the music scene.

The song Sullivan debuted at KOKO is called "Masterpiece" and will be featured on her upcoming album. From the video the song sounds upbeat, jazzy, and awesome. Most importantly, Sullivan seems like she is loving life again. Listen to it live here!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM.
